These Terms govern your use of StoriTold. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account.
You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your password secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.
You own the content you create in StoriTold — your written answers, voice recordings, and photos (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of it. You grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, back up, and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you (for example: syncing across your devices, generating AI follow-up questions from your answers, and exporting or printing your entries when you request it). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups retained for a limited period or records we must keep by law. You are responsible for Your Content, including any information about other people you choose to include.
StoriTold uses AI to suggest follow-up questions based on your answers. AI output may occasionally be imperfect; it is a prompt to help you reflect, not professional advice. See the Privacy Policy for how AI processing works.
Don’t use StoriTold to break the law, infringe others’ rights, upload content you have no right to share, attempt to access other users’ data, or disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Some features require a paid subscription. Digital subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store under its terms and renew automatically until canceled; manage or cancel through your App Store account. Any physical products (such as a printed book of your entries) may be billed separately through our payment processor. Prices and terms are disclosed at purchase.
We provide StoriTold on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Please keep your own exported copies of important content — while we back up data, you should not rely on StoriTold as your only copy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoriTold is provided without warranties of any kind, and our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, except where the law does not allow such limits.
You may stop using StoriTold and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms as StoriTold evolves. If changes are material, we’ll notify you in the app or by email and update the date above.
